Belief in Allah

Belief in the Prophets of Allah

Though the revelation of Islam was completed in the life of the Prophet Muhammad (salallaahu `alayhi wa sallam), Muslims are required to believe in all of the Prophets and Messengers of God. For more information about Prophets and Messengers, please visit the Prophets page.

Belief in the Books of Allah

Without a doubt, the Quran is a complete Book of Allah and contains everything one needs to worship Allah. However, a Muslim is required to believe in all the Books He has sent, as the message in the original form of the books was one and the same with regards to belief. For a description of what this means, please see the Books of Allah page.

Belief in the Day of Judgment

A Muslim must believe in and affirm the Day of Judgment, a day in which everyone will be resurrected after death and where both sinners and the righteous will face their Lord. To learn more about this great day, please visit the Day of Judgment page.

Belief in Predestination

A Muslim must know and believe in the concept of predestination, which is to acknowledge that everything that is to happen until the Day of Judgment has already been written. For an explanation of this concept as well as a clarification of why this does not contradict our concept of free will/choice, please see the Predestination page.
